France Salary After Tax Calculator 2026
Estimate employee take-home pay with a country-specific breakdown of modeled income tax and statutory employee deductions. This calculator uses the effective-dated profile and assumptions shown below.
Current modeled profile: Standard private-sector employee · 2026 private sector · hybrid estimate (hybrid-estimate)
How this calculation works
Hybrid estimate: models statutory employee social contributions alongside separately identified income tax or withholding.
The calculator applies profile fr-2026-private-employee (version 2026.2), lists each modeled deduction separately, and subtracts those deductions from gross annual pay. Monthly and weekly values are annual estimates divided by 12 and 52.

What changed this tax year?
This page uses only the current, reviewed 2026 private sector · hybrid estimate profile shown above. Formulexa does not silently reuse current rules for a previous-year comparison: a numerical year-over-year result will appear only after a separate archived profile and regression fixtures have been verified for this exact modeled scope.
Check the official sources below for enacted rule changes outside this calculator's documented assumptions and exclusions.
Assumptions
- Standard mainland private-sector non-cadre employee paid evenly over 12 months, with no collective-agreement-specific deductions.
- Modeled take-home salary is net before personalized PAS withholding unless an explicit PAS rate is provided by the user.
- Household annual income tax is displayed as an illustrative liability estimate under the filing scale.
Not included
- Employer contributions, cadre/APEC rules, mutuelle, transport, meal vouchers, payroll rounding, tax credits, décote, and non-resident regimes are excluded.
Current rates and country-specific rules
- Local payroll terminology: salaire brut is gross salary and salaire net is net salary.
- Employee old-age, Agirc-Arrco balance contributions and CSG/CRDS are modeled separately using their 2026 bases.
- The annual tax estimate applies the official 2026 scale for 2025 income after deductible contributions and the standard 10% salary-expense deduction.
- One or two tax shares can be selected; the estimate does not reproduce every quotient-familial cap or credit.
Worked example
At EUR 50,000 gross salary with one tax share, the engine calculates employee social deductions first, then applies the household income-tax scale to modeled net taxable salary.
